Program

Our Program

Play-based care, real friendships, and loving guidance in a small home setting.

At Little Explorers, children spend their days playing, exploring, moving, creating, and learning how to be part of a group. Kimi provides a warm home daycare environment where children are encouraged to have fun, build friendships, practice communication, and grow through everyday experiences.

Learning happens through play

Children learn best when they are engaged, curious, and having fun. At Little Explorers, play is how children build language, confidence, independence, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

A typical day may include pretend play, music, movement, outdoor time, art, books, age-appropriate toys, group play, and simple learning activities. Children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, try new things, and interact with one another throughout the day.

Growing socially and emotionally

Young children are still learning how to share, wait, listen, use words, handle frustration, and solve problems with others. Kimi places a strong focus on positive guidance and conflict resolution, helping children work through everyday moments with patience, consistency, and clear expectations.

When conflicts come up, children are guided toward using words, understanding others, respecting boundaries, and finding better ways to express themselves. These moments become part of the learning process, not interruptions to it.

Personalized for children

Small-group care with individual attention

Little Explorers is a small home daycare with space for up to six children at one time. Because the group is small, children have room to form close friendships while still receiving personal attention, guidance, and support throughout the day.

This setting allows Kimi to get to know each child’s personality, routines, strengths, and areas where they need extra help.

Having concerns?

Helping children settle in

Starting daycare is a big transition for both children and parents. During the first few weeks, Kimi helps children adjust gradually and keeps families connected with photos and updates. Once children are settled, updates are still shared regularly so parents can see how their child is doing.
